What if my child isnโ€™t sure about ballet classes?

Ready Set Ballet is designed to be fun and inclusive. Our ballet school locations offer trial classes in Ballet, or you could even consider our Ready Set Dance  programs. We guide children through playful activities that build confidence, coordination and a love of movement. Programs cater to all levels, and there is no prior dance experience needed. Our certified teachers are skilled at helping children start their first steps in dance. 

What elements of ballet are introduced at Ready Set Dance?

Our age-appropriate ballet activities in preschool ballet and toddler classes focus on gentle stretches, coordination, balance, and expressive movement. Children learn to move with grace, follow simple sequences and explore storytelling through dance.

Do Ready Set Dance programs cater to toddlers?

Ready Set Ballet is appropriate for children aged 2 to 5 years, making it perfect for toddlers and preschoolers alike. Each class includes ballet activities & exercises suitable for small children as young as walking age. Activities are age-appropriate, playful and designed to spark a love of movement.

We also offer Ready Set Move programs which are a perfect introduction to dance for babies and toddlers. 

What dance styles does Ready Set Dance offer besides classical ballet?

Alongside ballet, for your aspiring ballerina, our programs include other activities and dance genres such as jazz, tap, hip hop, as well as music and singing or acrobatics and tumbling, giving children a diverse introduction to the world of dance and performance.
