WANT TO BECOME A READY SET DANCE LICENSEE?

Am I automatically signing up by submitting an online enquiry? Will I have pay to apply?

No. There are a few steps to work through before becoming a READY SET DANCE licensee. Once you submit an enquiry, keep an eye on your email. Depending on the trade area availability for your studio, you will either be sent an Information Pack or a Waitlist Application form. Be sure to check your junk mail folder as sometimes the email can end up there. No money is exchanged until you’ve been successful and accepted.

How much are the READY SET programs?

Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet, Ready Set Acro & Ready Set Move varies in price. Please complete an online application to receive an Information Pack outlining the costs involved.

What does the price include?

A Ready Set Dance licence entitles studios to the following;

Secured trade area and approval to run Ready Set classes at your studio
A location listing on the official Ready Set Dance website
Portal access to the syllabus, instructional videos, music and sample class plans
Studio Owner and Teacher access to our Private Member’s Network
Access to our professionally created marketing assets and toolkit

Do I have to deliver all programs or can I select just one program?

Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet and Ready Set Acro licences are available to purchase separately, however the Ready Set Move program is only offered to Studios that run Ready Set Dance and/or Ready Set Ballet and/or Ready Set Acro. It cannot be Licensed on its own.

What if I have multiple studio locations

Studios wanting to deliver the program in multiple locations benefit from paying only one upfront program fee. However, additional locations incur additional monthly fees.

Do you Train my teachers? Who pays for training? where do my teachers go for training?

Ready Set Dance offer three level training programs for student teachers, new teachers and experienced Ready Set teachers. Teachers are encouraged to pay for their own training as part of their professional development. Training prices and certification periods vary depending on the program and level.

Training is delivered online as a 2-step process – review of prerequisite material followed by an online dance assessment component and activation session with Ready Set Dance Directors and/or Head Trainers.

How long will it take to become a READY SET licensee?

Typically, studios sign on within 2 weeks of applying. This time frame varies according to Studio Owners availability for the first telephone call, return of licence agreement paperwork and payment of the program fee invoice. Please be mindful that we are unable to ‘hold’ trade areas for studios and a trade area is not locked in until after the upfront payment has been received.

Can I benefit from any partnerships Ready Set Dance had in the industry?

ONE MUSIC – Ready Set Dance studios are entitled to a 10% discount off their entire ONE MUSIC annual invoice.

What costs am I likely to incur once becoming an official READY SET location?

For more information on this please refer to the Information Pack. We will advise you of the cost of start-up props and equipment during the telephone call.

Can I source my own props and uniforms for the program?

Preschoolers are attracted to the colourful branding of Ready Set Dance classes and studios must use select Ready Set branded props during classes. There will be certain props and equipment you can also source locally.

Preschoolers are to wear the Ready Set Dance official uniform once enrolled in the class and similarly teacher’s are required to wear the teacher uniform when delivering the classes and can purchase their uniform via their own teacher login to our eStore. Studio Owners can enjoy wholesale purchase prices on props and uniforms with great mark-up profits. More information can be provided during the telephone call.

What ongoing support and exclusive benefits will i receive from Ready Set Dance HQ

Studio Owners and teachers receive ongoing support via the Private Member’s Network. Being a part of our community sees your studio benefit from RSD HQ community

activities, competitions and giveaways, as well as intensive advertising campaign bursts delivered at peak enrolment times.
